Nars Sheer Glow Foundation: A cult status product now. It really just loves my skin and my skin loves it in return. I shall perhaps always have a bottle of this miracle foundation in my collection, much like that old, comfortable black dress in your wardrobe that you love dearly.
Nars Blushes: A slight twist of rules here. I simply could not decide on one blush colour I would deem 2011 favourite appropriate. 2011 was the year I discovered Nars Blushes, their silky smooth finish and rainbow of shades. A collection I'm happy to see expand.
MAC Patina Eyeshadow: One that simply had be included, just for the sheer volume of use it gets. Don't get me wrong, I bloody love it, however, its your bog standard taupe with gold reflects. A safe one for me that will never disappoint.
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara: My short stubby lashes are in need of length and although I cannot vouch for the 'growth' properties in this mascara, the finish really extends the lashes and gives the impression of doll like eyes. It's worth noting, I noticed zero difference between the Black (extreme black) and Yellow (normal black) version. Black is black right? I didn't know there was a spectrum of how black something could be?
Korres Brightening Concealer: The second Korres product to feature in my list. It is odd seeing as these are the only two products I own by the brand (note to self, buy more!) This concealer has the perfect mix of coverage and sheerness. It doesn't cake around the eyes but hides the eye bags induced by less than 7 hours sleep.
L'oreal Superliner Carbon Gloss: Staple for me. I think its perhaps the applicator I'm in love with, over the actually liner formula itself. Its unlike anything I've used before and would be simple for even a winged liner novice. I have repurchased this multiple times.
Sigma F80 Flat top Kabuki: Another cheat here I'm afraid. The latest entry possible, as a Christmas present. But its instant love. From the first use I knew I'd remain loyal day in, day out. I don't think I could possibly return to the ELF powder brush. This is on a whole new level.
So, I ask you, whats one single product that has shone in 2011 for you personally?
p.s. sorry for the length of this post! please stop me rambling about such superficial items!
